The lesson I learned today is not to get attached to material possessions. I loaned something out to a friend and after weeks of asking for it back, I come to find out that he gave it to his daughter. Oh, he offered to buy me another...used one, not new like mine was. I'm annoyed and unhappy about this. I was there for him when he was out of work. I even gave him money for gas to go on job interviews. This is how he repays me. I guess from now on I will not loan something out unless I'm ok with never getting it back. This is a sad day. :/

I'm back from my adventure in Black Rock City. I'll give you all a proper update as to my adventures while there but for now I'm working on catching up on emails, messages and OMG! a Daily Deviation. Never in a million years would I have imagined coming home, logging on and seeing 900+ messages today. This has been the perfect way to start out my birthday. Actually, the surprises started last night when I walked into my apt to see my kitties waiting for me and a chocolate cupcake and Tinker Bell balloon. Apparently my kitty sitters decided to start my birthday out by surprising me as early as they could. *grin*

I have a job!!!!! I start Tuesday! Time to celebrate!

I just got a call about a job. Looks like I may have something by Friday. I need to meet the head boss but the guy I spoke with said I basically have the job. Yay!

My mood at the bottom says "gloomy" but only because I couldn't get it to change. :/
