Each month D.M. Gremlin Studios hosts an open house event for models, photogs, musicians, etc. June's theme was Steampunk. This genre has always interested me and the idea that a whole night was going to be dedicated to it made me bounce with joy. While I would love to have sewn a neovictorian/steampunk outfit, I settled for something less time consuming in construction. Next time I'll be more prepared as I have ideas forming in my head as I type this.

I too am an aficionado of SteamPunk and it's trappings. I tend to follow the more esoteric , some say "mad", sciences but it's always nice to meet a fellow traveler.

This is my first foray into Steampunk fashion and style but I will admit that it takes it's hold rather quickly. I don't know too many females who can pull off the "mad" scientist look as well as men do. I usually go for more of the psychotic nurse look myself. :D
